The First meeting and the first few weeks

We had our first meeting back at the start to March and Pastor Mike went over what we would be doing, and to work on getting prayer cover for ourselves. Then he started talking about and teaching how to study the Bible, whether it be a verse, or a chapter, or a whole bunch of chapters. and making sure that what you are concluding is what God is really saying. so he used this picture to help I will have to explain more later, or if you have seen this before, you are more then welcome to comment on it, but i need to head to bed for tonight.. The Beginning

First, i want to thank all of you for agreeing to pray for me as I am going through this Leader Ship training course at Church. I am really hoping to strengthen my relationship with Christ, while learning how to better share my Faith with others and be the leader that God has called me to be, not only in Church, but in my day to day life as well. The Main reason that I asked you all to pick a day, is so that I can pray for you as well and remember you on that day in prayer. I find it to be better (with my A.D.D.) if I focus on one person, or family for a day. Last night was the first meeting for the class and we talked about Bible study and how to get the most out of it. Not only that, but how to make sure that it was God's word answering our questions, or our own interpretation. I will share more details about that when I am home and have my notes. Thank you all again so much for your prayers and support! If there is any thing that I can pray for you specifically, please let me know! You are all great friends and I am glad to have you in my life... JDF
